Highlights of the game: Saudi Arabia vs. Togo
First Half
• Saudi players kept the attack early on Togo, complying game plan.
• Nawaf Al Temyat, got a great pass from Muhammad Noor, but failed to turn the opportunity into a goal.
• After the 18th minute, Togo took control of the game.
• The Togolese threatened the Saudi at 18th, 23rd, 26th, 27th, 33rd, and 35th minutes.
• Main observation of the half – weak Saudi defense, and allowing too much open space for the opponent.
Second Half
• To increase offense, Paqueta replaced Omar Ghamdi (who did a great job mid fielding and defending) with Saud Khariri.
• Muhammad Al Shalhoub and Sami Jaber entered the game, after Paqueta felt the center needed some energy.
• Sami Jaber proved his worthiness, when he gave the golden pass to Malid Muazz, who ran past the goalkeeper and scored.
• Mabrouk Zaid kept the Saudi goal clean, even with the double digit opportunities for the Togolese.
• Malik Muazz have reserved his space among the national team starters.
