Hussain Abdul Ghani: We are a better team than 2002
Source: Al Watan, May 28th
Hussain Abdul Ghani said to Al Watan:
The point is not winning or giving result but to discover the weakness, so we can strengthen it before the World Cup and also stand firm on the positive and strong side of the team.
The current team is better skillfully, mentally and physically than the team in 2002 in Japan and South Korea.
He said the result is of the intense training they had compared to any other World Cup.
On regards to why he is a substitute, he said;
I request everyone not to interfere in the decision of Paqueta and give the chance to him to do what he cane for the team. And if I played or Al Khatran played, we are all playing for the team.
