Isn’t the cash enough ($12 million) or do we need the World Cup
Thanks to the King, Saudi Arabia already won their version of trophy. King Abdullah is willing to assist the Saud team’s preparation and participation in the World Cup with a $12 million fund. (Arriyadiyyah, May 28th)
I wonder how much winning the World Cup is worth. Wow, lots of money for training and participation.

Hell of a lot of money,, Well i cant say WOW as I am Saudi and used to seeing such lost causes,
Well if all the money was going to fund the team that would be fine but the problem is 75% of those funds are for the royal princes who will be accompanying the team like the head of the Saudi soccer federation and the so-called team managers among others and all have there entourage of servants assistants and body guards which will surly drain these funds as fast as they were acquired with the lavished lifestyles and presidential suits.
I wish they would stay out of sports and leave it to business men and professionals, or at least let the coach do his job and call plays and pick players as he is supposed too.
Until then the team has no chance of ever going to the second round and that’s the truth.
