After the game against Poland, the Saudi Football Federation awarded Muhammad Al Daeyea for having the most international appearances with 179. In addition Hamad l Montashiri was awarded for being the Asian Player for 2005.

Its shocking to know that some Saudi players had opportunity to play outside Saudi Arabia. Look for instance, I just found out from a website that Muhammad Al Deayea had an offer from Manchester United back in 2001, but didn’t go through as he didn’t have a working permit. wow!
