March 29th, 2006 | By: Shahed | 2 Comments »

Saudi Arabia lost to Poland in a game played at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Stadium in Riyadh. It was a game, that Paqeuta considered as a starting point for the current rosters to play together in preparation for the World Cup, as he have made his mind for the perfect team.

Saudi Arabia equalized in the 26th minutes through Reda Tukar, after Poland went ahead in the 7th minute from a nice header from Sossin. It was the first goal from Poland, that have energized the Saudi players to equalize. Muhammad Noor, the playmaker, has passed crucial passes to Yasser Al Qahtani and Saa’d Al Harthi along with the help of Nawaf Al Temyat. Even after the two teams were on the same score level, Saudis continued to press hard on the Polish, but good defending from their side detered any effort from the Saudi side.

Saudis, even with higher possesion of the game, experienced a lack of focus in the attack. Muhammad Noor and Ahmed Dhokhi contributed alot, but lack of strong stikers became fruitless. The Polish players had faster pass and converted one of them into a second goal and silimar to the first goal.
