Paqueta: Players shouldn’t play with their clubs
Paqueta said that short training before games don’t help the national team. In addition constant participation with their clubs have exhausted some players and even injured some like in the case with Abdul Aziz Al Khatran who got injured one day before the game.
“I think the game was good from our side, and we exceeded the Polish in some espect as we had better cooperation between players. In the second half, with change of players, the team lost its energy with the start-ups in the bench.”
Paqeuta still feels that the passage to the World Cup is still far away and said ” the situation Saudi Arabia is now in, is similar to what happened to me when I was with Youth Brazilian team, in which I got the Youth World Cup”

why dont they hire saudi coaches? Al kharashi or however you spell his name always manages a win while caretaker coach after saudi loses its first 2 games of the world cup. Also, instead of rewarding the players for victories, they should take away their privileges when they lose. Simple makes them work their asses off. The saudi players are lazy eating kabsa all the time.
