Players playing against Portugal

February 14th, 2006 | By: Shahed | 4 Comments »

We now have a possible line-up for the main team. Paqeuta announced that 75% of the players who participated against Syria will likely play against Portugal. Thanks to Paqueta, now fans don’t have to grumble about the constant change in the main team players. This is relieving, knowing that in the past the coach could never make up their mind regarding the perfect players. This is a message to the Portugal team - the Saudis are ready, are you? If the Saudis fail against Portugal, I am expecting another round of player switching. I hope the coach realize that changing player is not worth it.

Saudi Arabia #8 player is Muhammad Noor. He plays for Ittihad and was one of the outstanding players during last Fifa Club Championship.

[...] I wish the coach would explain why he does what he does. How does he expect his team to win the world cup games if good players are let go? I remember mentioning in a previous entry, that Paqueta will be forced to make changes if the game against Portugal doesn’t go off well. But I didn’t expect Paqueta to make some irrational changes.
