Saudi vs UAE – World Cup 2010
In another dramatic match, the Saudis made another come back in their game against UAE 3-2 as they did against Iran in Tehran 2-1.
Saudi Arabia vs UAE match held in Riyadh 01 April 2009 in their attempt to qualify for their fifth appearance in the World Cup.
Although the game was breathtaking but the Saudi team nearly got 80 thousand of their supporters express their bitter dissatisfaction especially when they score first from a penalty kick on 3rd minute of the first half given up on midfield which allowed Emirates players to control the game for the rest of the first half scoring two remarkable goals.
In the second half, the Saudis were able to restore the midfield after changes done by their Coach Peseiro.
The three substitutions were as follows; forward Saleh Basheer replaced Nasser Al Shamrani, Hussien Abdulghani who plays for Neuchatel the Swiss team as the only Saudi playing for a European team replaced Saheb Al Abdullah in midfield, and Mohammed Al Shalhoub replaced Abdo Autief in midfield.
The new Saudi hit-man central forward Hazzazi were behind all the goals scored by the team, as he earned a penalty kick 3 minutes after kick off of the first half, and then his great pressure trying to get to the low cross near the UAE goalkeeper which the UAE defender failed to save resulted in a shot for the equalizer -on goal-. Hazzazi was then able to score a great header to the empty net of the UAE goalkeeper when he received a high ball from substitute Saleh Basheer.

wow .. I think this game was wonderful I didn’t see this game because I am in u.s.a and my classmate from u.a.e but he didn’t tell me how win but now I have seen the goals it was wonderful,and i will dance when I see him.
i believe the team saudis will be going to the world cup,and I hope tame saudis continue in this win next game .
