Second round prediction…
If you see what team Saudi Arabia will play if they qaulify to the second round, there is a chance they might play South Korea. What’s interesting is for both teams to play each other during the second round we need to have following scenarios:
1. Scenario One:
Saudi Arabia – Group H Winner
South Korea – Group G Runner-Up
This scenario is far-fetched. I mean, I don’t think Saudi Arabia can acheive 1st place in the group. They have to be much better than Spain, Ukraine and Tunisia. Saudi Arabia can easily draw with Spain in my view, but being first in the group will be unrealistic assumption with the current performance.
South Korea can easily become runner-up of the group.
2. Scenario Two:
Saudi Arabia – Group H Runner-Up
South Korea – Group G Winner
With my trust in the team, I can say that Saudi Arabia can be runner-up in the group. But for South Korea to be a winner in their group, they need to perform as good as they did in World Cup 2002. I think France will not even score and be as bad as they were in WC 2002.
