Three players called in for game against Portugal
Muhammad Noor, Sami Jaber and Saad’s Al Harthi were called in by Paqueta to join the team before the team’s departure to Germany. Many people expected Paqueta to call on these people soon or later, but a game against Portugal probably forced Paqueta to call two Saudi influencial players; Muhammad Noor and Sami Jaber.

Thanks for the compliments, Sami and Anna. There aren’t alot of updated information about the Saudi team in English. Therefore my goal in this blog is to keep the world updated on a team that has a large potential in the future.
Well, all the players are stars to me. There is one player I consider a star, becuase of his talent, young age and being the shortest one in the team. He is Muhammad Al Shalhoub.
With the return of Sami Jaber, more fans are going to buy his jersey as he as been in the football arena for a long time. In addition he plays football, that is exciting to watch.
Yasser Al Qahtani, have become a figure of admiration for young Saudis. I feel his popularity is mainly due to his good looking, but people would say his scoring skills are the reason.
