Visit from the South Korean ex-coach

I think the day when Saudi Arabian player Muhammad Anbar scored the winning goal against South Korea during the world cup qualifying games, South Korea’s Ex-Coach Joe Bonfree realized that his coaching career with the South Korea has been shortened and diminished. Eventually he did get replaced.

Strangely he came by to say “hi” and appreciation to the Saudi players at their Holland training camp. He was solely interested in appreciating the talents of Muhammad Anbar and sarcastically thanked Muhammad Anbar for making him lose his job with the South Korean team.

He added:

South Korea is scared of attacking with ball, and prefers defending, but the Saudis shows brilliance at spreading equally around the field.

Pretty funny quote, if true; both Bonfrere and Coehlo were treated pretty unfairly/badly by the Korean press and the team’s administrators
