Saudi Arabia

You got it wrong!

The world still thinks Saudi Arabia is playing with their best goalkeeper Mabrouk Zaid. Mabrouk Zaid already lost popularity in Saudi Arabia, with Muhammad Daeyea being the most popular goal-keeper. He is injured and not even in the current team that played Portugal and Iraq. There is so little knowledge of Saudi football, that alot don’t know the day to day changes.

I think both of them are fine. Daeyea is more experienced and I always loved him. He is probably one of the most down to earth character in the team. I loved his elder brother even more. He made me cry once in joy. It was 88 final of what’s now AFC against South Korea. The whole stadium was screaming in one voice La Ilaha Illallah and the elder Daeyea raised his both hands toward heaven for a prayer before saving the last spot kick of Korea with a spectecular dive. I think that 88 team was SA’s dream team with Majed Abdullah but the qualification to the world cup was just bad luck!

Zaid is not bad. I think he is easily the best in Asia.

For instance, for Spain it is “ES-PA-NA!  ES-PA-NA!” and in France it is “ALLEZ LES BLEUS!”… what is the proper way to show support for Saudi Arabia ?

And do they have a song how does it go a few lines

any other info you have would be greatly apprciated

I am tring to find this out for the big game
very new to the sport

Thanks in advance.
